So what will you be doing?

  • You are the first point of contact for our organization and provide accurate information to our contacts in a client-friendly manner.
  • You manage our telephone switchboard and ensure a smooth reception and transfer of incoming calls.
  • You help prepare visits made by our prospects, clients and partners to our facility in Kortrijk, making sure everything is ready for their arrival (arrange meeting rooms, food, beverages, course materials, etc.).
  • You are responsible for receiving all incoming deliveries (samples, consumables, etc.) and notifying and distributing them to the right person within our organization.
  • You are responsible for ordering all necessary consumables and office materials using an electronic booking system.

So what will you be doing?

  • You help realize our company’s commercial strategy by promoting our state-of-the-art analytical solutions within our ever-growing customer base
  • You are responsible for managing and expanding your client accounts in various sectors, including the chemical/petrochemical, environmental, food, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.
  • You develop a strong relationship with your accounts by regular interactions (emails, calls, videocalls) and in-person visits. You are their trusted go-to-person for new project requests.
  • You go the extra mile to understand your customer’s evolving needs. You stay on top of their progress and keep track of internal and external factors that could influence our ongoing collaboration or trigger new opportunities.
  • You prepare official proposals with the help of our scientific experts and your supervisor. You follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contracts are sent out and approvals are received in a timely manner.
  • You use dedicated tools to prepare your proposals and budgets, follow in-house flows for contracting and log all your prospecting and sales activities in our CRM system to ensure traceable history.
  • You represent our company at national and international events, workshops and conferences.
  • You are willing to travel, with a maximum of 20% of your time.
  • You are regularly present at our headquarters in Kortrijk.
  • You report to the Director BD & Sales.

  • You work on the development and application of (bio)analytical techniques with a main focus on ELISA.
  • You design experiments together with your supervisor and plan and execute the work independently.
  • You document and analyze the data and write scientifically sound reports of your results.

So what will you be doing?

  • You lead one of our R&D departments, managing a team of 15+ scientific experts and project managers.
  • You maintain a high-level overview of daily operations, guiding your team with planning and process flows and helping them complete client projects at the required scientific and technical quality and taking into account timing and budgets.
  • You monitor the accurate documentation and reporting by your team and assist in the standardization of protocols and reports.
