So what will you be doing?

  • You lead one of our R&D departments, managing a team of 15+ scientific experts and project managers.
  • You maintain a high-level overview of daily operations, guiding your team with planning and process flows and helping them complete client projects at the required scientific and technical quality and taking into account timing and budgets.
  • You monitor the accurate documentation and reporting by your team and assist in the standardization of protocols and reports.
  • You interact regularly with our Commercial team and provide/coordinate support for client offerings and new marketing materials in a comprehensive and timely manner.
  • You closely collaborate with other departments and support company-wide initiatives to improve departmental workflows and cross-departmental collaboration and alignment.
  • You embrace innovation, take initiatives to improve our operations and scout for new technologies to broaden our portfolio.
  • You evaluate the performance of your team and define goals and objectives on an annual basis for your direct reports.
  • You report to upper management and escalate critical issues when needed.


This is you…

  • Born leader and motivator, people person & problem solver
  • Broad understanding of the different aspects of the biotech and pharma business (technical, scientific, regulatory, commercial) and strong affinity with protein analytics
  • Client and solution oriented, able to combine commercial and operational needs to create a win-win
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching highly scientific teams
  • Excellent organization & communication skills
  • Able to work in a highly dynamic environment, managing changes in planning and being able to propose strategies based on available information
  • A knack for tackling scientific problems, finding strategic solutions and turning complex projects and ideas into practice
  • Able to think ahead and help pave the road for future innovation
  • Fluent in English (written & oral) with great reporting and presentation skills
  • Master or PhD Degree in life sciences or equivalent

  • Servir nos clients dans votre région: Grand-est, Bourgogne – Franche Comté et une partie des Hauts-de-France
  • Développer une stratégie commerciale pour atteindre ou dépasser vos objectifs
  • Identifier de nouvelles opportunités, en prospectant de nouveaux clients
  • Analyser le besoin du client afin de proposer la meilleure solution analytique
  • Assurer un suivi commercial total des affaires en collaboration avec les ingénieurs d’application et notre SAV
  • Rapporter vos activités dans notre outil CRM
  • Visiter l’ensemble des clients de votre portefeuille
  • Prospecter physiquement les clients
  • Assurer une veille technique et applicative

  • Vous aimez acquérir et fidéliser des clients
  • Atteindre ou dépasser vos objectifs commerciaux vous motive particulièrement
  • Expériences dans la vente des instrumentations analytiques
  • Une formation en chimie ou chimie analytique
  • Sens démontré des affaires, capacité à structurer et à négocier des ventes
  • Ouvert, à l’écoute et sens du service envers les clients
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe et bon sens de la communication
  • Autonome, réactif avec le sens des priorités et des opportunités
  • Au-delà de la formation, c’est avant tout la personnalité, le tempérament et le savoir-être qui seront appréciés avec une maîtrise des techniques de vente
  • La maitrise de l’anglais est un avantage
